Terms of purchase
Last updated: 27 September 2026
Draft: text in [brackets] is a placeholder, filled in with the company's own details before launch. Nothing here is final legal wording yet.
These terms apply to every purchase on sokkero.no. In short: you buy one or more boxes of 7 identical pairs, as a one-time purchase or on a refill plan. We send them free to your mailbox, and you have a right of withdrawal under Norwegian law.
This is a translation for convenience. The Norwegian version of this page is the one that applies.
The agreement
The agreement between you and us is these terms, the order you placed and the order confirmation you received by email. Should any of those say different things, what applies to your order specifically is what counts.
Nothing here narrows the rights you have under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act and the Right of Withdrawal Act. They apply whatever this page says.
Who is selling
Sokkero AS, org. no. 938 502 358 MVA, Brekkerødlia 36, 1782 Halden. Phone: [TELEFON]. Questions? Write to hei@sokkero.no — we reply within [RESPONSE TIME].
Product and price
One sock: black (the launch colour), unisex, about 5 cm above the ankle, with one stretch fit for EU 37–45. The sock carries no logo, size marking or text. It is sold only as a box of 7 identical pairs — never as single pairs.
You see one price. Both 25% VAT and delivery are inside it, and the price shown when you order is the price charged. Nothing is added at checkout.
Ordering
You buy as a guest — no account, no password. You order by pressing “Place order and pay” with the amount on the button, and that press commits you to paying. The agreement is made when you receive the order confirmation by email, and that confirmation is also your receipt, showing the organization number and the VAT amount.
If a price or a detail has gone obviously wrong — a slip anyone would spot — neither of us is bound by it. We tell you as soon as we notice, and if you have already paid, the money goes back straight away.
Payment
You pay with Vipps or by card (Visa or Mastercard). You enter your card on the payment page of Stripe, our card provider — never on ours. The amount is charged when the payment is confirmed. If you break off along the way nothing is charged, and the order never becomes anything.
Refill plan
You can choose a one-time purchase or a refill plan. One-time purchase is preselected and creates no future orders or charges.
If you choose refill, you enter a recurring agreement: we send and charge the same number of boxes you put in the plan, again at the interval you chose. The first delivery is always at the normal price. Every refill after that costs the normal price less 20% with a refill every 3 months, 10% every 6 months and 5% every 9 months — calculated per box from the price that applies on the day we ship, and rounded to the nearest whole krone.
You can have one refill plan at a time — one per customer. One-time purchases you can make alongside it, in the same order or later.
With Vipps: the payment agreement itself is made in Vipps, and it lives there. It shows the price of each refill and how often it comes, and we update it when you change your plan. You pay for the first order when you approve the agreement. If you cancel here, we stop the agreement in Vipps — and if you stop it in Vipps, we cancel the plan here.
With a card: Stripe, our card provider, keeps your card for the plan — we never see the card number. You pay for the first order on Stripe's payment page, and there you agree that we charge each refill to the card on the date in the notice. You can change the card on Min side. If you cancel, we delete the saved card at Stripe. Whichever way you pay, you must be 18 to enter into a refill agreement.
There is no binding period and no minimum number of deliveries. We email you at least 5 days before every charge, with the price and the date, and the link in that email lets you skip or cancel without signing in. On Min side you can also pause the next delivery, change how many boxes, how often it comes and where it goes, right up until we charge — all without a fee. Cancelling stops the plan — orders already paid for go ahead as normal.
The price shown in that email is the price we charge.
If the payment does not go through, we charge nothing and send nothing that time. We email you, and the plan continues to its next date — we do not try to take the same refill again.
Withdrawal and returns for a refill plan are under Withdrawal and returns.
Delivery
Free delivery to your mailbox anywhere in Norway. We dispatch within [DISPATCH TIME], and the parcel normally arrives within [DELIVERY TIME]. You get a tracking link by email once the box is on its way.
If you order several boxes they may arrive as more than one parcel. You get tracking for each parcel, and they may arrive on different days.
Whatever the times above say, you have the box within 30 days of ordering at the latest. That is the outer limit set by law, and it holds even if we should have promised something else.
Risk for the box
The risk for the box passes to you once you — or someone you asked to receive it — have it in hand. Until then it is ours.
So if the box is lost or damaged on its way to your mailbox, the loss is not yours. Write to hei@sokkero.no and we will send a new one or pay you back.
If we are late
If the box does not arrive as agreed, and the reason is not something you did, you can withhold payment, require us to deliver, or give us a reasonable additional deadline. If we miss that, you can cancel the purchase and get everything back. If the delay has cost you something, you can claim compensation for it.
In practice: tell us at hei@sokkero.no. If the box has gone missing on the way, we send a new one or pay you back — you should not have to demand anything to make that happen.
Withdrawal and returns
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, counted from the day you received the box. If you have a refill plan, the period for the plan runs from the day you received the first delivery. With us you also have 30-day returns on every box.
Some sealed goods may be exempt from the right of withdrawal once the seal is broken, where the law's hygiene exception applies. [LEGAL REVIEW] Our 30-day returns apply to pairs still in their sealed packaging. Everything about this, and how to go about it, is on the Returns page.
The right of withdrawal is separate from the refill plan: the plan you can also skip a refill of, or cancel, at any time — with no deadline and no fee.
If the box has not been dispatched yet you can cancel it yourself from the link in your order confirmation. Once it has been sent it is a return, and then we handle it by email.
Complaints
If something is wrong with the socks you have a right of complaint under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act. That is a different right from withdrawal, and it costs you nothing. Write to hei@sokkero.no, ideally with a photo, and we will sort it out.
Tell us within a reasonable time after you discovered the fault — within two months is always in time — and in any case no later than two years from when you received the box. If the socks are meant to last materially longer than two years, the deadline is five years. Tell us as soon as you can — it is always easiest then.
If something is faulty, we send new socks. If that cannot be done, you can claim a reduction in the price, or cancel the purchase and have your money back. If the fault has cost you something beyond that, you can claim compensation. Repairing a sock is rarely meaningful, so in practice it is new socks or money back.
If the payment does not go through
You pay before we send, so an unpaid bill never arises with us. If the payment does not go through, the order simply becomes nothing: we send no box, and you get no invoice, no reminder, no fees and no debt collection.
The same goes for a refill that cannot be charged. We do not try the same refill again, and your plan continues to its next date.
Guarantee
We give no guarantee of our own beyond what the law gives you. That is not a narrowing: the right of complaint above applies in full, and a guarantee can never give you less than it does. If we ever promise something extra, it comes on top — never instead.

If we disagree
Tell us first, at hei@sokkero.no — almost everything is settled there. If we cannot agree, you may complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet), which mediates. If that does not settle it, the matter can go on to the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget).
Norwegian law governs the purchase.
